{Expired} Zazzle: 100 Free Business Cards or Gift Cards

Front

Back

Aren’t these gift tags the cutest?  I just designed them and ordered 100 of them over on Zazzle.com for only $0.20 and that included shipping!  They’re actually business cards, but they’re the perfect size for gift tags!  I left extra room on 1 side to whole punch them so I can tie a ribbon through them.

Wanna create some cute and FREE business cards or gift cards?  Head on over to Zazzle.com where now through tomorrow only (9/1), you can snag 100 business cards with FREE shipping! You’ll pay nothing out of pocket!

Here’s what you need to do…

  • Head on over to Zazzle and choose your business cards.  You can browse their templates or design your own, but you have to choose the cards that are $16.95 in value.  (I chose cards that were $17.15 and so I paid $0.20.)
  • Once you have designed your cards, you can begin the checkout process.  At this point, the discount for the free cards will automatically be applied.
  • You will then need to enter the coupon code ZAZSHIPSFREE to snag FREE shipping. Keep in mind that you will need to enter your credit card or Paypal info, but nothing will be charged (unless you went over the $16.95 like I did).
  • Once your payment info has been entered, you will need to change the shipping method from Standard to Economy (see picture below).  Your order total should go down to $0 and you can then click “Place Order Now”.

Thanks Hip2Save!

I Like to Move It, Move It! {Ten Frugal Workouts}

Over the last year, I’ve lost 65 pounds.  I’m not quite at my goal yet, but I will get there.  I’ve had lots of people ask me what I’ve done to lose the weight and my answer is always eat healthy and exercise.  It’s not glamorous, but it works.  If you’re looking for a great workout that won’t break the bank, check out these 10 frugal workouts.  Most of the workouts below are under $20 and some are FREE!  Hope you enjoy!

1.   Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred {Under $10}

This is my favorite!  She kicks your butt in less than 30 minutes! Amazing! {This is my current workout of choice}

2. Billy Blanks: Ultimate Bootcamp {$15-$25}

I love Ultimate Bootcamp, but then again I’ve enjoyed every Billy Blanks workout.

3. Lindsay Brin’s Shed 5 Fast with Moms Into Fitness {$15-$20}

I reviewed this a few weeks ago and it has some killer ab moves!

4.  C25K {Free}

The Couch Potato to 5K will take couch potatoes and turn them into 5k runners in less than 10 weeks. Sounds impossible, but it actually works.  During my very first run, I thought I’d die.  Now I’m amazed at how long I can run for. Best of all…this workout is free!

5. Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds Ultimate Collection {$10-$15}

This is a great option for beginners!  It’s also a great way to build up your endurance!

6. Turbo Jam Beachbody 5 Rockin’ Workouts {$10-$25}

Turbo Jam Rocks!  Every Beachbody program I’ve tried has been well done!

7.  The 200 Sit Up Workout {Free}

This is not a full body workout, but the training program will improve your ability to do situps.

8.  The 100 Push Ups Training Program {Free}

Did you know that push ups are one of the best exercises you can do?  They are great for your arms, shoulders, and core!

9.  Ride your bike! {Free if you already have a bike}

Bike riding is a great low impact workout!  The weather is cooling off and fall is a perfect time to get your bike out!

10.  Walk {Free}

Grab a friend or family member and go for a walk.  If they’re not available, that’s OK.  I love to take long walks while listening to audio books.  It makes the time fly by.

Bonus:  Dance

I love to dance and you’d be amazed at the workout you can get just by moving!  Put on your favorite music and dance around your house!

Also, keep an eye out for workout gear and DVDs at garage sales and thrift stores.  I bought the whole Power 90 DVD collection for $5 at a garage sale!

This post will be linked to Top Ten Tuesday.

Not familiar with Groupon? Here’s the 411…straight from the horse’s mouth!

What is Groupon?

Each day, Groupon features an unbeatable deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in your city. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won’t find anywhere else. We call it “collective buying power!”

I like today’s deal – how do I get it?

Just click “BUY” before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people sign up, we’ll charge your card and send you a link to print your Groupon. If not enough people join, no one gets it (and you won’t be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the deal!

What happens if the Groupon doesn’t reach its required minimum number of purchasers?

If not enough people sign up, then the deal is canceled, and you won’t be charged. Better luck next time! So if you really want the Groupon, be sure to either beg or threaten your friends .

Do I need to use my Groupon the same day I buy it?

No. Many Groupons have an expiration date, but you never have to use them on the date of purchase.

I bought a Groupon – how do I use it?

Once you’re charged, you’ll receive an email with a link to sign in and print your Groupon. The Groupon has redemption instructions and a map right on it!

Can I buy a Groupon as a gift for someone else?

Yes. We communicate with all the businesses that we work with that Groupons can be gifted, and unless the Fine Print specifically states otherwise, gift away! To have us send them the gift, select the gift option at checkout.

Jasmere: Hot Deal on Bee-Cology

Gilt Groupe: Up to 80% Boys & Girls Designer Apparel

Today at GILT GROUPE they are having boy’s and girl’s apparel sales with incredible designer brand names…up to 80% off.

GILT GROUPE is an online mall (invitation only!) that features daily designer closeouts.  Some of these are still not what you may consider frugal, (like the ZacPosen dress below for $399 (regularly $1250) but they have lots of fun designer sales that are often worth the splurge!

This site is an invitation only site, but since I’d love to have you join, I’m inviting you!  CLICK HERE to join (it’s FREE!).

Save Money on Dental Bills

One of the best ways to save money on dental bills is preventative maintenance like regular brushing and flossing.  This is easier said than done when it comes to our kids!  Here are some helpful tips to keep your kids smiles healthy and bright!

  • Eat healthy:  Eating nutritious foods isn’t just good for strong healthy bones and organs, it’s also good for strong healthy teeth!
  • Avoid sugary beverages:  Our dentist told us that if we absolutely must drink soda, we are better off drinking a can over a short amount of time and following it up with a cup of water.  If you take small sips over a longer amount of time, the soda has more of a chance to cause tooth decay! Who knew?
  • Treat your kids to sugarless gum after meals: Most kids love the chance to chew gum!  If you don’t eat at home, give your child a piece of sugarless gum like Trident and have them chew it for 20 minutes.  It should help prevent cavities!
  • Have your kids brush at least twice a day and make sure they brush for 2 minutes at a time.  If you need to, have a teeth brushing dance party.  Play a song they like and let them dance around the bathroom sink while brushing their teeth.  When the song is over, they are done brushing their teeth!
  • Visit your dentist regularly for checkups: Take your kids to the dentist twice a year to make sure that they are taking good care of their teeth and gums. Preventative visits are far less expensive than having cavities filled!

Disclosure:  I wrote this blog post while participating in the TwitterMoms and Trident blogging program, making me eligible to get a $25 gift card. For more information on how you can participate, click here.
