My name is Lisa.  I am a wife, mother, and Christ-follower.  I am a lover of words both spoken and written!   When I’m not with my family or at work, you can find me with my nose in a book, out shopping for deals, blogging, or diligently avoiding housework.  I love finding great products that  make life better and sharing them with you.  They may be freebies that save money, cleaning products that shorten the time needed to get stuff done, great recipes (and recipe books), or just  a beautiful handbag which always puts a smile on my face!  During the next few months, we’ll be including more giveaways which I know will be fun for all of you.

When I originally started blogging, we were over $50,000 in debt, not including our home.  I wanted to share the deals I’d been finding and get a little accountability in the process.  We’ve been diligently plugging away at our debt and have been amazed at how God’s provision, coupled with discipline and hard work on our part, has made such a huge difference.  Although we’re not yet where we want to be financially, we’re definitely moving in that direction.
