About
My name is Lisa Thompson. I have been married to my wonderful husband Fred for 6 years. In 2007, our two beautiful daughters Amina (now 16) and Khrystyna (now 13) joined our family through the blessing of adoption. Life is never dull at our house!
I am passionate about my relationship with Jesus, my family, travel, shoes, purses, health & fitness, and saving money…not necessarily in that order. We’ve learned to save on the everyday essentials so that we can splurge on the things that we love!
I am a lover of words… both spoken and written and can usually be found jabbering on the phone while blogging! I enjoy seeing women reach their full potential and often blog about saving time, saving money, and saving sanity…three things that are essential for women!
When I began blogging, our family was well over $50,000 in debt (not including our house). I am now thrilled to say that other than our house, we’re debt free!!! I have been amazed at how God’s provision, coupled with discipline and hard work on our part, has made such a huge difference in our financial life, our family life, and our future endeavors.
I’d love to hear from you! Comments and feedback are always welcome.

Dear Lisa,
I really enjoy your blog! I found it to be informative and helpful I– I also feel it helps me enhance my own ability to be independent by saving on everyday items via coupons!
