I regularly mention cashback sites when I post deals on Simplified Saving.  I love them and they’re a great way to make a little bit of money on things you were going to purchase anyway.

Many of you have asked what the deal is with all the cashback sites and how they work, so I thought that I’d kick off my “How To’s” series with How To Use Cashback Sites.  I’m planning on sharing about Mr. Rebates, Ebates, and Shop at Home.  If you use another cashback site that I should know about or if you’ve heard of a cashback site but don’t know how it works, let me know and I’ll look into it for you!

Tomorrow is Cyber Monday and that means deals, deals, and more deals!  I’ll try to get as many posted as possible.  One of the ways to make the most of Cyber Monday is by using cash-back sites!

The cash-back sites are really easy to use.  The ones I use regularly are Mr. Rebates, Ebates, and Shop At Home.  If you’re a new to Ebates or Shop At Home, you’ll get a $5 bonus after you make a qualifying purchase!

If you’ve never shopped through a cash back site, it’s quite simple to do. Once you’re signed up, simply choose the store you want to shop at from their list of stores and you’ll see how much cashback you’ll get.  Typically, it’s anywhere from 2% to 5%…sometimes more, sometimes less.  I usually end up with more than $100 cashback a year. I use the cashback sites for everything from hotel reservations to ebay purchases!
