I absolutely love the delicious sundaes at Friendly’s. Although I don’t have a Friendly’s close by, I thought I’d share this deal with those of you who are lucky enough to live near a Friendly’s. My brother was home from college this past weekend. He hasn’t been home since Christmas, so I was quite thrilled to be able to spend some time with him. I invited him over for dinner on Saturday night, but after a day spent working on projects around the house, I was pretty tired and didn’t feel like cooking or the clean-up that would be required afterward. It’s always a special treat when we go out to eat, so I gathered the family and informed them we were heading to Chili’s for dinner.
I printed off my coupon for free chips and queso and off we went.
Chili’s has a new Wild or Mild Menu, but as you can see, we’re pretty wild on our own, so we stuck to mild. (Although if it had just been me ordering the queso, I would have totally ordered the Kicked-Up Queso. I love me some cheese that sets my mouth on fire!)
Chili’s has a great 2 for $20 menu and so by the time the 5 of us were done ordering, we had enough food to feed an army…or a bunch of hungry teens.
Between us all, we had burgers, fajitas, chicken crispers, big mouth bites, Texas Cheese fries, fried cheese and chips & queso. The food was seriously delish and we had a great time being together as a family! {And I didn’t have to do any cooking or cleaning…Thank you very much Chili’s}
